Interview with the Filmmaker Pei Ju Huang
Your views on the film.
I am sincerely grateful for my interviewee allows me to shoot live, also because of her brave story of facing the disease it gives me a lot of positive energy. Because not only my grandmother died of breast cancer but also my aunt was diagnosed with it.
Cherry told me “No matter what happens, remember that you are stronger than you think you are.” Fighting cancer is a big battle and it’s my honor to record these brave women.
Everyone’s life is unique. It is a pleasure to be able to record the life stories of others with images.
Your cinematic work.
Consider patient privacy, it was the first time I had done editing work alone. I hope to pass on bravery and faith to those who also fight against the disease.
